Teleferico

The Teleferico (which is basically a ski lift made by a Swiss company) takes you up to the top of the hill overlooking the city. It costs 4 pesos each way. I usually take the ride up and then walk down. Walking takes about one hour. There is a nice park and some pretty man made waterfalls at the top. You get your tickets and board the teleferico near the bus station, across from San Martin Park.

Horseback Riding

A lot of people offer horseback riding. Here are two I can recommend. I like both of these guys, but only Ramiro speaks English.

Nightlife

The night life here is pretty amazing. The locals go out around 12 and stay out till about 5 or 6 in the morning! I haven't been out a lot but one night I went out to a bar called Zeppelin, which is managed by Demian, who is also the owner of the Prisamata Hostal.

The most popular area at night is on Balcarce street and anyone can tell you where that is and how to get there. It's about a ten minute walk from the main plaza and is reasonably safe. Taxis are relatively cheap here so if you have any fears, that is an option.
