I visited the hostel once in August 2007 just before I left on my trip to Europe. I spoke with the owners Luis and Irene. I liked the hostel and their ideas of bringing art, music and culture into the hostel.
I didn't have my camera with me that day because I just happened to find it when walking back from the US Embassy where I had picked up my new passport.

The prices were similar to the other hostels in Montevideo.
