This is a new place, or actually an old place being renovated. It will cost about 10 pesos to use the pool.

Later there will be:

Camping, volleyball, horseback and bike riding in the hill behind the pool.

In the pic above you see one of the hills, but this one is connected to many more. The pool complex is right on the very edge of Salta, not far from the bus terminal, behind the big cemetary.

To get there walking you can go to the bus terminal and then follow Avenida Yrigogen about ten blocks till you get to this church

Take the street Los Lirios which goes to the right of the church. Follow it till the end (about 4 short blocks). Then you see this.

Walk up the steps. and then you will see this dirt road.

It looks like it leads no where but injust two minutes walking you will see the swimming pool. If you get lost ask for the "pileta" (swimming pooll).
