Salta Airport
You can get to the airport in about 30 minutes from the bus terminal. Actually the bus stop for the airport is behind the terminal and across the street. This is what the sign looked like in July 2006. You take bus 8A. I am not sure why they don't list "Airport" on the sign. Maybe the taxi drivers paintd it over! Who knows!
I suggest you ask around before you need to go though in case they change the bus routes. In a city bus it costs about one peso. In a taxi, about ten. Some people tried to tell me that you have to walk a long way from where the bus drops you off, but it is only about a six minute walk from where the bus drops you off to the terminal. When I got to the airport I also found out that there is an airport shuttle bus. It was expensive, but I suppose if you had 8 people it might work out better than a private taxi.
